Sun. Sep 27th 2020

Station 64 (White Valley VFD) was dispatched by Westmoreland 911 at 10:26 AM for a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) with entrapment on William Penn Hwy. and Route 819 within Station 90’s (Forbes Road’s) district. Rescue 64 went enroute with (4) firefighters on board and Service 64 with (3) firefighters on board. Portable 90 arrived on scene and reported two vehicles over turned with one vehicle still having two patients trapped inside. Chief 90 then arrived on scene and took command. When Rescue 64 arrived on scene, Command 90 ordered crews to work with the vehicle that was in the road way. Crews began to set down oil dry to clean up any fluids leaking from the vehicle. Crews then assisted with patient extrication from the other vehicle involved. After patients were extricated and transported by Mutual Aid Ambulance Service to a local trauma center, all crews began cleanup operations and assisted with traffic control. After all debris was removed from the roadway and spills were cleaned up both vehicles were towed from the scene and Rescue along with Service 64 returned back in service.

Other responding companies were: White Valley FD, Forbes Road VFD, Slickville VFD, Delmont VFD, Mutual Aid Ambulance Service, and Pennsylvania State Police
