Station 64 (White Valley VFD) was dispatched by Westmoreland 911 at 6:07 PM for a motorcycle accident with injuries within Station 102’s (Washington VFD) district on Silvis Rd. and Route 66. Tanker 64 was enroute with (2) firefighters on board to a previous call for a brush fire in Indiana County and arrived first on scene confirming a motorcycle accident with injuries. Captain 64 took command of the scene until Command 102 arrived on scene. Rescue 64 went enroute with (3) firefighters on board. When Rescue 64 arrived on scene, crews assisted with patient care. Tanker 64 then continued enroute to Indiana County for the brush fire. Once patients were loaded into the ambulances Rescue 64 was then rerouted to Mamont Elementary School to establish a Landing Zone (LZ) for two Stat MedEvac helicopters. After Stat MedEvac landed crews assisted local emergency medical services (EMS) with transferring patients over to Stat MedEvac. Once all patients were removed from the scene all crews from Rescue 64 were then cleared from the scene and put back in service.
