Station 64 (White Valley VFD) was dispatched by Westmoreland 911 at 3:00 PM for a Brush Fire that was endangering a structure within Station 59's (Slickville VFD) district. Tanker 64 immediately went enroute with (2) firefighters on board. Portable 59 was first arriving on scene and took command. Portable 59 reported that the fire had reached the garage of the structure and that it was a fully involved working commercial garage fire with an explosion that had gone off. Attack 64 then went enroute with (5) firefighters on board. Chief 59 then arrived on scene and took Command of the scene. Tanker 64 was the first Tanker into the scene and began to supply Engine 301 with a water supply. Once Attack 64 was arriving on scene, crews were ordered to hit the hydrant and create a supply line to Tanker 64. Once a water supply was established crews began to assist crews on scene with extinguishing the fire. Once the fire was knocked down crews then checked for any hot spots as a property owner began to demolish the garage. Crews then began to clean up all equipment and were released back in service by Command 59.
